Pour the powder into a non-flammable container that is at least 8 cm wide — one flame melts a pool roughly 8 cm across, so anything narrower and the melted wax reaches the walls. If you use several wicks in a wider vessel, leave 6–8 cm between them. Push each wick in so that about 0.5 cm of the tip stays visible above the powder, then light it. Full step-by-step guide.

A single wick burns for 14–16 hours, depending on the vessel and the room. The burn rate is roughly 4 grams per hour per flame, so 400 g of sand gives you about 100 burning hours from one wick.

Yes, in three ways:
• Crush the hardened wax back into powder, pour fresh powder on top and insert a new wick — you get a completely fresh candle.
• If enough wick is left, simply light it again like a normal candle.
• Remove the hardened wax and set a new wick into the remaining powder.

No. The wick is the soul of the candle. We use different wicks in different products to get a clean, even burn, so always use the wicks supplied with that product.

Yes. As with any open flame, keep the vessel on a stable heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Candle sand is a finished consumer product made from plant-based wax, and it does not require a REACH declaration. If your own compliance file needs written confirmation of that, get in touch and we will sort it out with you.

Yes to both. A safety data sheet is available for every product in the range — open the SDS folder, or tell us exactly which products you are buying and we will send the right sheets.

Our products are labelled to EU regulation 1272/2008 (CLP). The labels carry the product name, our name, address and telephone number, the list of fragrance allergens where they exceed the threshold, hazard and precautionary statements and the hazard pictogram where the classification requires them, plus a tactile warning and child-resistant closure where these are needed. That means you can resell the products in the EU without relabelling them yourself.

All fragrances we use are IFRA certified — the certificates come from the raw-material suppliers we buy from. For shipments outside the EU we can also issue a certificate of origin when it is needed. Tell us what your market asks for and we will put the paperwork together.

Everything is manufactured in Estonia from 100% plant-based wax, so the goods stay inside the EU and ship on EU paperwork.

Candle sand is available in volumes of up to 10,000 kg, supplied in 10–15 kg packs. Tell us your monthly volume and we will size the order and the pack format for you.

From 25 kg you can have roughly 60–80 candles burning at once. Each flame uses about 4 g per hour. Use the candle calculator to work it out from vessel size and quantity, or tell us the guest count and we will size it for you.

We normally dispatch orders within 48 hours. Larger orders that need more production capacity can take longer, and lead times shift a little with the season. Inside the EU, delivery usually takes 2–9 days depending on the destination.

Orders are paid in advance. Depending on the order we accept bank transfer, PayPal or card.

Yes — and approved B2B accounts get them free. For every €350 in your cart you can add one 250 g sample pack (3 wicks) at no charge: choose the scented pack or the coloured unscented pack, add it to the cart, and the price drops to zero at checkout. €700 gives you two, €1050 three, and so on. It is the quickest way to check burn quality and scent strength in your own vessels before you commit to a volume order.

At the moment we offer a filling service rather than a full white label package. If you have sourced packaging that suits your brand and send it to our factory, we fill it with the sand, scent and colour you choose. We do not source, order or design the packaging itself.

You provide the packaging, delivered to our factory, and choose the scent and the colour. We handle the filling and production. Packaging sourcing, label design and printing stay on your side. Send us the packaging specs and your volume and we will tell you what is possible.
